How to Keep Your Cast Iron Skillet Clean

Avoid using soap when cleaning your cast iron skillet.  Simply remove food particles with coarse salt. Rinse with warm water, dry, apply a thin layer of oil and put back on the burner on low setting and leave for 30 minutes.  Once the skillet is clean and cool, put a clean paper towel in the skillet when storing.
